World Health Day Awareness Programme at Bhubaneswar Model Public School, Nayapalli
On 7th April 2026, on the occasion of World Health Day, Bhubaneswar Model Public School, Nayapalli, organized a health awareness programme for students and teachers in collaboration with the South Asian Institute of Health Promotion (SAIHP) and the Rotary Club.
The programme focused on promoting awareness about health, preventive care, and the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle among students and teachers.
Dr. Dasarathi Das, Secretary of SAIHP, addressed the gathering and highlighted the importance of health and its close connection with science, knowledge, and evidence-based practices.
Dr. Mihir, Ophthalmologist, conducted an informative session on proper eye care, explaining the importance of maintaining good eye health and adopting healthy practices to protect vision. The awareness session was followed by an eye check-up camp for the participants.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all the guests, organizers, teachers, students, and collaborating organizations for their valuable participation and support in making the World Health Day observance successful.
