Stress Management Programme at Sishubhawan, Cuttack
On 5th August 2026, the South Asian Institute of Health Promotion (SAIHP) organized a Stress Management Programme for the staff of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Post Graduate Institute of Paediatrics (Sishubhawan), Cuttack.
The programme was graced by Prof. Amrita Lenka, President, SAIHP; Dr. Dasarathi Dash, Secretary, SAIHP and Former Scientist, ICMR-RMRC, Bhubaneswar; and Dr. R.K. Hazara, Former Scientist, ICMR-RMRC, Bhubaneswar, along with other distinguished guests and participants.
The programme commenced with a welcome address and introduction by Dr. Sandeep Agarwalla, Superintendent, Sishubhawan, Cuttack. This was followed by an informative slide presentation by Dr. Dasarathi Dash, focusing on stress management, coping strategies, and workplace well-being.
Dr. R.K. Hazara and other experts also shared valuable insights and practical perspectives on managing stress and maintaining mental well-being in the workplace, particularly among healthcare professionals.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Sandeep Agarwalla, expressing gratitude to all the dignitaries, speakers, staff members, and participants for their valuable presence and contribution to the successful organization of the programme.
The programme emphasized the importance of mental well-being, healthier workplaces, and a resilient healthcare workforce.
