National Science Day Celebration at Nimapada Autonomous College
On 28th February 2026, National Science Day was celebrated at Nimapada Autonomous College to promote awareness about the importance of science, scientific thinking, and its role in society.
Dr. Dasarathi Das, Secretary of the South Asian Institute of Health Promotion (SAIHP), joined the celebration as a distinguished speaker and delivered an informative lecture on the importance of science, scientific research, and evidence-based approaches in addressing public health and societal challenges.
During his lecture, Dr. Dasarathi Das encouraged students to develop scientific curiosity, critical thinking, and a research-oriented approach. He also highlighted the importance of applying scientific knowledge for the betterment of society and improving health and well-being.
