Dengue Awareness Camp at Vivekananda School

On 17th July 2026, a Dengue Awareness Camp was organized at Vivekananda School by the Rotary Club in collaboration with the South Asian Institute of Health Promotion (SAIHP).

Dr. Dasarathi Das, Secretary of SAIHP, participated in the programme and highlighted the importance of dengue prevention, early recognition of symptoms, and timely medical care.

The programme focused on educating students about practical preventive measures, including eliminating stagnant water, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation, and protecting themselves from mosquito bites.

Students were encouraged to share dengue prevention messages with their families and communities. The programme emphasized the importance of community participation and preventive action in reducing the spread of dengue and promoting a healthier society.
